Max has melted our hearts lately. Last night right after we turned out the lights he said, “I love you, Mommy and Daddy.” We usually say that to each other before going to sleep, but Max initiated it last night. It was so sweet to hear! This morning Max said, “Good morning, Mommy,” all on his own. Oh so, so precious!

When we got up and got going we headed to Granny’s for breakfast. Max wasn’t much for eating, but we finally got him to eat a few crumbs. After breakfast we all went on the porch for Max to play. He really loved being outside with an audience. Max and I rolled cars on Granny’s porch and had a big time.

Max was tired when we got home from Granny’s, so we went upstairs to rest and watch Toy Story 2. After that Max took his nap.
