Topic: Any Advice on Hemorrhiods.

Hello, I am 29 years old and have IBS. Over the last few months I've been having trouble with going to the bathroom and after weeks of worrying, I was told by my doctor that I've got an external hemorrhoid. I've been also suffering from anal fissuers too. I've been using Uniroid-HC cream which works well. But still I can feel the hemorrhoid and it's sore at times. My doctor told me to keep using the cream for 2 weeks and if it's still there, go back and see them again. How should I deal with this? I take a bath each night, drink water and eat heathly food (but I do love junk ..... but been cutting down) but what esle can I do? Any advice would be great smile

Hi Welsh_Girl and welcome.
I never heard this cream, so I did a research on Google. Seems like a good cream, I would really appreciate if you share your experience with this medication here.
There is not much you can do in this phase. Just make sure you eat healthy, be extra-careful when stooling and wiping.
As your doctor said, we have to wait a little and see the progress.
You can also use some natural medication like Amoils, but after you finish the treatment with this other cream. Amoils also requires some time to work. You can also take some pills like Venapro, if Amoils doesn't work.
The problem with your condition is the anal fissures, which tend to aggravate hemorrhoids. Make sure you do some daily exercises (maybe some 1-2 km walks in the evening) and totally eliminate junk food.

The cream I use is good, it takes the pain away and stops the bleeding too. I had to order more of it today, it's a new cream and I was told it goes into the bloodstream. It can give you headaches but they only last about 30mins! I would tell anyone to use the cream, it works wonders. I can feel the hemroid when sitting down and feel it when wiping, so I go softly and make sure I clean myself in the bath too.

Re: Any Advice on Hemorrhiods.

Hi Guys,
There are many types of hemorrhoid problems, itching, burning, stabbing etc. Each problem has its own cure.
In general you will get temporary relief from many symptoms by crushing Ibuprofen very very fine (usually with a spoon) and mixing the powder with zinc oxide (diaper rash medicine) or fresh cut Aloe Vera plant jel from the leaf.
Internal hemorrhoids can be cured or at-least shrunk by using Neo-Healer.
Apple Cider Vinegar applied with a cotton ball 2 - 3 times daily will shrink hemorrhoids within days.
Honey has been known to dramatically shrink hemorrhoids.
Mix equal parts goldenseal root powder, myrrth powder, bayberry powder and white oak powder
with neo-healer salve for an all around cure.
#1 Eat a high fiber diet or supplement your diet with a high fiber mix. You must prevent stiff stool
from creating tension or pressure in the anal and rectal region causing inner anal tissue/anal canal walls to stretch, droop and even swell allowing the veins to fill further with blood.

Hope this helps.

Re: Any Advice on Hemorrhiods.

tips on treatment of hemorrhoids :

Medical treatment of hemorrhoids is aimed initially at relieving symptoms. Measures to reduce symptoms include

    * tub baths several times a day in plain, warm water for about 10 minutes
    * application of a hemorrhoidal cream or suppository to the affected area for a limited time

Preventing the recurrence of hemorrhoids will require relieving the pressure and straining of constipation. Doctors will often recommend increasing fiber and fluids in the diet. Eating the right amount of fiber and drinking six to eight glasses of fluid—not alcohol—result in softer, bulkier stools. A softer stool makes emptying the bowels easier and lessens the pressure on hemorrhoids caused by straining. Eliminating straining also helps prevent the hemorrhoids from protruding.

Good sources of fiber are fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. In addition, doctors may suggest a bulk stool softener or a fiber supplement such as psyllium (Metamucil) or methylcellulose (Citrucel).

In some cases, hemorrhoids must be treated endoscopically or surgically. These methods are used to shrink and destroy the hemorrhoidal tissue. The doctor will perform the procedure during an office or hospital visit.copied

Re: Any Advice on Hemorrhiods.

The following medications may be helpful in alleviating IBS symptoms:

Imodium - Can alleviate gas, bloating and diarrhea but should be utilized with care as not to disrupt the normal bowel patterns.
Fiber supplements such as psyllium (Metamucil), a great source of soluble fiber or methycelluloseLucin (Citrucel). By adding fiber, bowel contractions and patterns are regulated. Lucinda Bassett, in her widely popular program "Attacking Anxiety", strongly recommends daily fiber supplementation and insists that adding a bit of fiber to her diet calmed her own symptoms of IBS remarkably.
Anticholinergic medicines - anticholinergics affect the nervous system and can relieve the bowel spasming that can be extremely painful, irritating and stress invoking.
Antidepressents - Although certainly not all IBS sufferers would consider depression treatment, antidepressents can inhibit the activity of the neurons controlling the intestines. For those with mostly diarrhea an MD may prescribe imipramine (Tofranil) or amitriptyline. For those with mostly constipation, an MD may prescribe fluxetine (Prozac, Sarafem) or paroxetine (Paxil).

Re: Any Advice on Hemorrhiods.

the first in addition to the medication prescribed by the doctor, is a change in your lifestyle, you must initiate a change in your diet by adding fiber, more vegetables and fruits besides to find a physical activity to do, all this will help with constipation one of the main causes of hemorrhoids.
remember to solve a problem requires work on the cause, and in this case for a permanent hemorrhoids treatment you must change constipation,  you can use all the best medications that exist or the best cream but never will cure if you dont work to end constipation

Re: Any Advice on Hemorrhiods.

Hello Gays,

My name is Trifon. My website is BEST TREATMENT FOR HEMORRHOIDS. Hemorrhoids are a very bad thing. They should be treated promptly and by professionals. This information is very useful for me. I found this very difficult and I am grateful to you.
I want to share with you this information:

1. Bright Red Blood in Stool
Have you every heard of people with ‘blue blood’ or ‘bad blood’?  These terms don’t, of course, relate to actual blood.  All blood is red!  But, there are different shades of red …
Bright red blood in stool is as a result of rectal bleeding.  The rectum is the last 15cm of the colon or long intestine, and leads to the anus.  So rectal bleeding is a term which refers to bleeding from that area.  However, blood in the rectum may have begun its journey further up in the colon which is what is referred to more correctly as the gastrointestinal tract.  The color of the blood will give us an indication as to where the bleeding itself began.

and

2. TREATMENT FOR HAEMORRHOIDS:
If you are reading this article, you probably already know what bleeding hemorrhoids are … but you may refer to them as ‘piles’ – a term coined because it is dilation of rectal veins within the anal canal to which hemorrhoids refer.
Bleeding Hemorrhoids – and how we suffer
From the outset, though, it should not be assumed that blood evidence on passing stool is related to hemorrhoids.  If the blood is bright red, then there is a chance that it is from hemorrhoids, but darker blood indicates a fissure further up the anal canal.  In both cases, medical advice should be sought to ascertain the exact reason for the appearance of blood.

Thanks,
Trifon
